If yes, would that be a detractor?
I've used lines that "glow" under a blacklight when night fishing for Bass. I don't think the line glows below the surface far enough to matter. Now this wasn't in a "gin clear" water lake, but the water is clear enough to see a foot or so down during the day.
I've also used hi-vis lines night fishing for Crappie, just outside the circle of light from a white light floating headlight, plus white lights shining out over the water, on a lake with water clarity of several feet during the day.
And in both instances ... fish were caught.

I don't think hi-vis lines are a detractor in broad daylight, much less during the dark of night.

AMEN brother. This should be talked about for years to come. The real losers are the ones turning a head to it. or not wanting to talk about it.

In some places some lakes different times moody fish maybe it matters? If we didn't catch fish with hi vis line we wouldn't be using it.Name: 20190912_201325.jpg
