IGottaByte, I agree with you. Hopefully the cheater can make restitution and with himself, I presume other fisherman in the tournament were longtime friends and he did them wrong - he needs to retain there trust and friendship - Imagine losing your fishing buds?

Some join with an interest in learning, sharing, teaching, contributing, and supporting. While others motives might be to promote an agenda. Initial posts will quite often differentiate between the two. Fortunately in our group we are blessed with far more of the former than the later. Fish on, fairly.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

I agree 100%. Good line, works for me. Just make sure it's fresh and has not sat on a shelf at baitstore in the heat for years. All "plastic" lines deteriorate over time, especially in heat.

DRFISHDUCK...I'm glad you asked the question regarding hi vis line because I have a similar question!..lol...I'm going to night fish in a clear water lake, and use blacklights (so my line will glow like a beacon so I can see it!)...my question is, would the line glow underwater too? If yes, would that be a detractor?

Seen high vis and blacklight fished a bunch. It didnt seem to bother the fish any. If it matters to you tie on a leader of regular mono

I use Mr Crappie, Vicious, Stren regular and hi vis. Will be putting all 3 to the test soon hopefully. I like mono - it works for me in the waters I fish.

Happens all the time. I bought a small bell and told her to ring it at a subject change

Can't help with that one but I would be rigged with different line types to see what happens. Let us know what happens to make our fish brains bigger!
