A story.....

Went to dubisson yesterday afternoon.First pass trolling crank baits and fish on...Bass...continuing on my first pass around the lake there was a man fishing from the bank. The wind was blowing 15 mph and I was trolling in 8 to 10 fow.This puts me30 to 40 ft off the bank.The wind was blowing towards the man on the bank so when he spoke I could not hear. I waved thinking it was the courteous thing to do. He gestured to me something of which I did not understand. I smiled. Then I heard what he said."Ya think that's funny do ya" I said yes before I caught on to the fact that he was angry with me for invading his space.I then figured out the gesture which meant I had the whole lake to fish and I chose there to pass. Needless to say I did not say more and kept fishing.I couldn't speak because my mouth was hangin open. Fished 2 to 7 pm in windy but comfortable conditions. Best color was baby bass in 8 to 10 fow. Should the sacs have been in the vicinity of these bass??.

No I was not upside down. The second pic if you zoom is a gaggle of purple martins. Maybe Bruce can rescue me ...again.

Good job Tal. Its the white crappie your after with the cranks so open water....look untill you see baitfish on your fish finder....the crappie should be there with them.

Man Tal, I think you got them fish figured out! And you did the right thing getting away from him, it is a shame that one bad person can mess up a day if you let them. Congrats on not letting him! One of these days I would like to follow you around out there, I'm sure I could talk Deacon or Sneaky Pete into a trip out there too.
