    You could use

    instead of snaps, weights and such. The world series trout run is coming up in Lake Pontchartrain soon. Folks have trolled in Lake P for trout since they built the bridges. Chrome and blue rattle traps work best. I like the challenge of jig em with plastics.

    Scott V makes and sells some good trolling weight rigs too.....thats what I use.

    I like the three oz. size because its just right for the speeds that I troll and keeps the line at 45 degree angle so it will work with the pushing chart that I posted. 1.6 to 1.8 mph

    good info.....will try what I have available and see how it is with pushin....I am hooked on the cranks....yes!!! no live bait.and is a versatile method for a lot of bodies of water.........ADDICTION at its finest
