Default Get ready for the Basin!

The Ohio is on a steep fall from Cairo, where it provides 70% of the flow in the Mississippi, all the way up to Smithland Lock and Dam. The Mississippi is on a steep fall at St. Louis and it is leveling off at Red River Landing (where it enters the Atchafalaya). The stage at Butte la Rose should be steady for about a week and then start to fall. THEN the bite is on!

I wish it would have gotten to 20' at BLR for where I fish. Needed a good flushing and stocking.
