Just got back from Poverty Point where I enjoyed visiting with Blue Thunder and Popsicle ( by the way very good fisherman) and enjoyed my visit with some of the locals I see each year. On the other hand that Lake has some of the rudest fisherman I have ever seen in my life, I kept my composer but it was very hard. I liked to know what happen to common courtesy and the magic line in the water you don't cross when fishing near someone it sure is very close in that Lake I try to keep a few boat lengths away from anyone when possible but I could have stepped into one old guys boat he passed so close to me. I really though he wanted to tie on to my boat and get a fishing lesson since he felt the need to follow me every time I pulled in a fish. I had one guy cut through me this morning while I was fishing a bed in 3ft of water and ground his boat on land and throw to shiners my way to claim the spot (ridiculous nerve). Back home that guy would have been sprayed by a well placed outboard for doing that at the very least. Well I kept my cool and bit my tongue how I don't know, I even surprised my fishing partner. Well I hope some how it gets better.
