This reminds me that I been awhile since I been spam hunting. Gonna see if the seasons open and try to shoot some spams. Last week we did pretty good on the naugas. Had a truck full of them.

We have a saying, "you full of baloney". Wonder who says, "you full of spam". I like the stuff myself. Like it fried down with a little margarine and coke. Glazes it a little for samiches. My Momma used to chicken fry it and we ate that with French fries and a pineapple salad. Yes the kind with mayo plopped on it.(lettuce, pineapple, grated cheese, a little plop of mayo and a cherry on top) Some people used pears instead of pineapple. Now that I look at it, that was a Hawaii themed meal.

I do the same thing with fish G. Fish, onions, butter, and red bell peppers - wrapped up tight and on the coals it goes. Pull it out, and wrap up in a warm flour tortilla. I have done that for many years - way before it became "fashionable" to have what they call fish tacos now a days.
I also remember when my grandmother would go to the butcher and get the skirt off the ribs that wasn't sold because it was considered the lowest quality beef and very cheap. Much later, when I was in college in my early twenties, a friend invited me over for a BBQ. He said he was making "fajitas". I had no idea what it was he was talking about until I saw it.
