    Come on JR, why you gotta go injecting good sense in this post. All I know is my red beans are ready to eat and I baked some chicken parts too. Tried something different , sprinkled a little chili powder on the chicken. Now if Mae would get back from the hair dresser, we will eat. I will post the results on the chicken. Already know the beans will be good!!

    I once asked my momma why we always had red beans on Monday She told me the same story JR did. Mom died two years ago. One of the last meals she cooked was red beans. I was lucky enough to freeze some. I ate the last pack three months ago. They were out of date,but they sure were good. One of my favorite things to eat.

    Thawed out a dozen of Frank's Zwolle, Louisiana tamales. Going to pour some homemade chili on them and call it good.
