I missed one and after 20 minutes the wind did a 180 out of the east and started blowing like crazy. Was a very cold 48 degrees with the wind. Decided to give up. Back across the lake. Been coming regularly fo 2.5 yrs.Worst waves and whitecaps I ever crossed in.We got wet going about 10 mph. Got back to the camp and dried out, gave up fishing and ate homemade meatball poboys. So, 8 total hrs in 2 days. 1 crappie. Looks like the weather will settle for a few days. That should help. Will try again a few hours tomorrow in lanana and the coop if wind allows. Danny
Man Danny, hang in there, it has got to get better! I will bring some extra shrimp to fry though.....Just in case!

Oh yea, thanks for the reports!

I was figuring the Coop was done and with the weather getting up in the 60's every day and all this sun, it has to move them and my time will soon b e happening. I need to put my boat in to go see for sure here. However the wind is bad today and looking out my back door, it's too windy for fun. Will get back soon with some more info.

Sorry you can't make it Spec. Just got back from TB. Did not try this morning. Had a frost till about 8 then the wind started again. Supposed to be up to 20 mph today. Skip the water temp yesterday was 48 at Cypress and lowes creek mid day. Looks like weather may settle a few days and that can only help. Randy my minnows stayed alive in a bucket. Gave them to my neighbor as we were leaving. He's going this evening to drown them. Dwyane, I have a few packs of fish ready.

Hopefully I can make it to this. I just relocated from Sacramento California to Austin Texas. What would I need for fishing license how much does it cost for a one day license. I'm going to be talking to the wife tonight to see if we can make it out.
