Went through the thread. Is this open to anybody? New to the group , never been to Toledo bend, it is so big it is overwhelming. If open, where do you stay, saw cabins mentioned but don't have a clue where they are. Is there an r&v place nearby, if so where? Do you fish together, I don't know the.lake. Any specifics appreciated

Anyone is welcome to go. I don't know how to fish and I'm still going. Trust me. These people will help us and you can fish with anyone who has an open seat. Two words. Chicken coop.

Yes, open to anyone who wants to join us. Like G said, SRA San Miguel park. Cabins as well as a lodge where we will have the gatherings Friday and Saturday evenings. We will also have a big fish pot going. Lots of us follow each other around on the water. This time of year is prime for the deep bite along the river and creek channels. The Chicken Coop is infamous for the deep water bite. There is also a thread started for the Toledo Bend food list for the gathering. Let us know if you have any questions. We would enjoy it if you came.

Cool. They have both. Don't know if they have any of the larger ones available right now, check and see. I am sure glad you are going to join us, big fun for sure! Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Old Yankee..if you go to Toledo-bend.com there is a listing for lodging..you want to select louisiana side and look around mid lake area. I can recommend Tranquility Bay and Wildwood resort..they are near San Miguel .. I also know someone who has cabins to rent off of hwy 1215..message me if you need more info.
Oh and you may want to check with Bo Dowden realty as well.
