I was born in Lubbock while my dad was at Texas Tech in the ROTC air force. During Viet Nam, I lived with my grand parents on a large ranch southeast of El Paso along the Rio Grande. To this day I refuse to ride the fence lines and pull barbed wire, feed and water stinking chickens. Tough times.

Hello to all.
The wife and I recently put our travel trailer in San Miguel and I am loving it. We use to rent cabins but bit the bullet this year and bought a used TT and have it down there permanently for at least the next 6 months. I have been fishing out of SM off and on for the last few years. Wave and say hi if you see me, I have a red Lowe's boat and usually fish at night with the wife and son. I fish this last weekend and pulled in about 30 total.

Rod holder - bought this last year and forgot I had it in the shed. Just installed it last month. been using 3 rods off of it.
I run a 998C with SI at the console and a 788CI HD with DI at the trolling motor (i love seeing the brush piles on the SI)
Some fish from last month and one I caught the other night that came in at 15"

Nice pictures Rich. I just bought those same rod holders you have from SpyderLoc. They look nice next to that cricket cage you have - same as mine (always tote a cricket cage). Very nice boat as well. I'll put you on my ongoing list of those that will attend. Skip says he will need a head count to bring some of his infamous ties for us. I'll put up a Toledo Bend gathering food list probably the first part of December so stay tuned. Thanks for posting.
Oh, forgot to mention, if a fella named Danny inquires about where you caught those fat ones you posted. Ignore him.
