Hey "G", if you laugh so hard you cry, it don't count against you does it?

I talked to the nice lady today at the San Miguel campground. The large ice maker is up and running in the pavilion/lodge that we have rented. We'll have lots of ice on Friday and Saturday all day if you guys need it. Just thought I'd let you know.

Bring back a load of Zwolle tamales. They is good!

You are right Gomer, excellent. They are the tamale capital of Louisiana and have a festival every year. Danny brought some for the last gathering and ever since I have always brought some home. Zwolle is right down the road from the gathering. Slab, BillBob, and G will miss out if they don't they try those. Ask him the best place, I can't recall the name - but know where it is at.

Hope I get a chance to sample 'em tamales. If they as good as you say, will bring some home too.

Randy, the tamale's that I like come from "Frank's", not the commercial plant in Zwolle. I will be happy to help people get them while we are there. If we order enough, they may deliver.

Right, I remember. You gave me their business card. Folks, Danny knows his food, and knows it well (especially pies ). I'm sure we'll have enough for people to order so they'll deliver. Me, I'll take two dozen to bring home. I can eat them cold as snacks, or pour hot homemade chili on them for dinner. Ate them lots in West Texas growing up.
