Sure wish I had a good crappie report to share. Unfortunately between the wind and rains I haven't had an opportunity to hit the water. The rains are really keeping the grass growing and my side-line mowing seems to have become full time mowing. Throw my daughter's dance recitals and soap box derby into the mix and you can easily see why I've not been around lately.
My son and I did get a chance to hit Barren Friday night for hybrids. We didn't wear them out by any stretch but he caught a real nice one. Here's a few pics of our evening including one of me with a monster bass (now you see why I don't bass fish much). Not a lot of fish catching, but a lot of fun.
I sure hope to get back on the crappie soon.

Savor that time together. In a heartbeat they are grown and gone. It seems like my sons were that age last week and now one is 33 and the baby is 26! One still fishes and the other prefers to chase the little white ball around a pasture!

Sorry we didn't get to hookup at Green River Lake ... but, I'll take a rain check for next Spring, if that's cool with you. Maybe next year will be a slab year ... it's due :D

CP, that sounds good. I sure hate we weren't able to hook up. I think next spring we'll just have to set a date and go regardless of what the weather is doing. If you ever want to try those hybrids at Barren, your welcome to come down and fish with me anytime.
