Taylorsville was wierd yesterday!

I started out at Chowning and went to a little hole I know that holds bluegills this time of year and caught about six or so and a couple of cats. I was there to catch crappie so I headed toward Settlers Trace to another hole that holds crappie and I searched everywhere and tried everything but no crappie for a few hours so I decided to go back to the gills. Caught a few more gills and then I hooked a 20 lb carp and liked to pulled my guts out! Caught a couple more cats, a perch and another carp about 10lbs. I was ready to head home and tried one more time for crappie at about 7:00 pm and wham I found em about 8 ft from the bank and started nailing crappie and more gills all in the same hole! Got one crappie that was 16 inches yesssss.....Total take home was 20 gills, 8 cats, and 10 crappie and 2 carp. It was a great day after all!

Nice job of hunting them down. Question? Is there a lot of trash in the lake or can you run it fairly safe?

Main lake had no trash....lota skiing. But coves had a lot of washed up brush. High levels have washed away alot of cover but main channel good.
