Ky dam is spilling right now. They are trying to hold alittle to help relieve the flooding south. They are going to continue to release water while they can. Pad. guage is around 40' and still rising. I checked the lake stages this morning and Ky lake has fallen a little dispite the rain. I've been catching blacks about 1 1/2' to 2' deep aruond stake bed and flooded buckbrush/willows. They may pull back off the banks with falling lake levels (forcast to fall real slow) but remain around that depth over deeper water. The whites I have been catching have been at 14' in 18' to 20' of water in the bays. The water has warmed some since this warm rain and I'm sure the west side will be muddy but the LBL side shouldn't be as bad. A few days of sun will REALLY warm this muddy water. I pray to god the blacks can hold off on their spawn until TVA starts holding the lake. If not we've lost a spawn.
Good luck.
