I like the Ugly Stik GX2 in a 7’ ultra light. I have used on the redears at Barkley and the ‘gills here at home. You can cast the slip bobber setup a mile and stay back off the beds. Like Pappy, I also use my 6-6 crappie Maxx jig rod when I drop shot’em. 6lb year copoly line.
