    Mush, crappie are pretty slow on Barren right now. The lake is still 8 ft below summer pool. Went out last Monday and had only 13 crappie (3) were keepers.

    I know some hybrid are being caught at night, but they are hit and miss as to whether you'll get them to bite. Took my son Friday night and we got blanked, however, a boat right next to us caught 4 in about a 2 hour period. One was over 9lbs.

    We haven't started trolling for them yet, we spoke to a guy Friday night who had tried trolling for them earlier in the day. He said that he trolled for over two hours and didn't get a bite. The bass are slow right now as well.

    Can't explain what' s up with the lake.....the fishing is just not very good right now. Maybe by the first week of June things will pick up.

    Hi Badbrad Thanks For That Report As I Posted Yestarday . I Talked To My Wife Uncle Last Night And He Said They Went Fri And Sat Fishing Off Points The Other Side Of The Water Tower Close To Goose And Grass Ilsn. With Cnckin Liver Fishing Four To Six Foot Deep They Had 28 Fri And 26 Sat.the Biggest Hyb Was Six Pounds Caught Six Cats One Blue Nine Pounds And The Rest Were Channel About Four Pounds A Piece. And Thank You For Your Report.
