Northforke, Man, if you were pulling cranks with the trolling motor and had all of these carp, then this will pretty much end the 'Cranking for Crappies' pattern if the carp are this thick. Sad. So let us know if you were using your OB(which may have caused them to jump) or using your trolling motor when you were pulling the cranks when the carp were going crazy. Not good if all you can do now is watch carp jumping out of the water whether you are fishing or have hired a guide trying to catch Crappie when running Crank Baits. Doesn't sound good for the Guides.
