hardest thing to do is to have to decide when it comes to euthanasia…..it is difficult to read these posts……sorry for the loss of your faithful, the most faithful companion you shall ever have…….they forget the mistakes you made and forgive you in minutes…and will forgive you multiple times…for the duration of their life…..

I feel your pain! I went through the same thing about 12 years ago and am still not over my Cody dog. We got Angel about 10 years ago and she has been a blessing in our lives. Bout as good a Lab as a family could ever ask for. She just turned 10 and I know the day will come when we'll no longer have her around. I'll shed some tears that day for sure.

We finally had to put our Baby down a month ago. Our 15 year old Airedale. That dog protected the wife, and our girls through high school age, played with them, comforted them when they were sad and adored my wife Laura. She was my dog only in name because she had so much heart one master wasn't enough. We picked up a chocolate Lab from Doug last summer who will no doubt be a wonderful dog for us but she will have some huge paw prints to fill. Justin we wish you the best, and cherish every memory you have of your faithful friend.

Beautiful dog! Sometimes the look in their eyes makes them seem more like people than animals. When you lose a dog and it hurts, it means your were vested in your dog and they in you. Sorry, it looks like you lost a good one.
