I use:
14ft Wally Marshall tightline specials ( yellow tip- for my eyes ) have had as many as 8 poles out front ,mainly use 4 you can find fish with your DF ( starting in deep water moving shallow-if water temps arent quite up there ) and once you have located them looking at your DF for there depth, use 1/8 or 1/4 (colored jig heads with a skirt -sometimes) tipped with a minnow and present bait 1-2 ft within that strike zone all poles at different depth to simulate a school of bait fish and hold on.......... -if you have to move- move slow I mean slow, for slow bitting I like to use crappie niblets as an added attractant...but what do I know ( smile) hope this helps ...boat control is the key .....hope this helps. This is just one way -not the only way to spider rig-
