Never fished Laurel but I always do better on Green when I can find moving water. Usually in feeder creeks and main river during winter and summer and main lake flats adjacent to the river channel when they are pulling water in the warmer months. My locator method most of the year is to troll with Shad Rap-type crankbaits but will switch to a crawler harness this time of the year when the fish have slowed down. I only caught 4 last year in 2 outings but have moved almost entirely to crappie fishing after discovering this board. Let me know if I can be of any help. Walleye are one of Kentucky's most elusive fish-but are tasty and down right fun to catch once you can get on them.
