One of the hardest things I`ve had to learn is it does not take as much materials as you think. The jigs work much better and catch more fish with a with a smaller profile and more natural action.....Tknight
The limit is how many you KEEP, not how many you CATCH! Cat. III Jigs/Custom Jig Poles
Several have mentioned craft Hair for their jigs, IMO THE best is from Punisher Jigs, the folks that make the float and fly jigs. You can get an assorted pack of all their colors for about $34 dollars.
It's really good stuff and a little goes a long ways. You can check it out here

I see Punisher does not have my favorite color for craft fur? It's Black Frost and starts out black and turns to silver or white, not really sure which it is between the two, but it works.
Here is a pic of Black Frost...

So did they stop carrying it or what? I don't see it pictured in the page you linked.
The only thing I don't like about even this color is it's way too long. I have been thinking about using a marker to add more black so it will not all get cut off. Ever solid colors are such a waste. I guess it you were tying streamers it's fine, but you have to cut off so much for jigs and normal flies it's crazy.
