    Do you guys that tie the Wooly Bugger jig catch very many crappie on this type of bait? If so what colors do you use?

    I catch crappie on wolly bugger flies. Two combos: black/pink & black/chartreus.

    Depending on the hook model, 1 - 6 or even 8 are fine. 8 may be a bit small, but for crappie I use 4 and 6.

    Black.green or black & chartreuse. A Wooly (Worm or bugger) is the attractor fly on my setup above a jig. The Wooly is always on a #4 or #6 hook. It will catch Crappies as well as many other species.
