Default How About A Spinner Bait

This is a little heavier than 1/16 (close to a 3/32), but also have some 1/32 and some 1/24 Oz. I should make more of these since I have some ready to paint and put loop in the wire for the swivel and blade.

Anyway one of my Favorite colors for Crappie.

Thanks guys! I do love spinner baits. The first crappie I caught here after I moved in here was one night I was actually fishing for bass with a big Black spinner bait at night right out in front on my house and got a hit, it turned out to be a big old crappie.

Glookin bait. I like the colors and ultra chrome head. Looks like one of the bunch of Ron Dons min spin heads. Great set ups. I like em, or I should say my son likes em, with a hammered Colorado blade. Nice tie.

Thanks, I like how easy it is to change the blades with that little Quick Twist Clip too. I have some smooth Colorado blades and do plan on adding some hammered ones soon. I like how much viberations you get from the Colorado blades!

Yep, excellent tie! I would also opt for the Col. blade.... More 'vibes' and you can retrieve it slower as it displaces more water.

We fish a lot of Hydrilla and the willow is better on grass usually because the Colorado swings in a bigger patern catching more grass. How ever I still have places I like he Colorado, but most if not all my spring fish came on a Roadrunner with a willow blade.

In the spring when the fish are up shallow and relating to every branch in the water, I use one like that with a nickle sized colorado blade very slow and do very well. That is the second or third rod on the deck while easing down the shore looking for a concentration. Usually bigger fish too. Very nice spinnerbait, really like that chenille.
