I teach/coach here n Mississippi and while on the football field today i looked down and saw the perfect jig skirt (artificial turf). It is going to work awesome. The red in the tail is the turf

I love toying with new materials. You can trim the ends at a angle and give it a little different look.

Lots of my personal jigs have a single red strip in them, but only one, 2 max. Maybe you should try what ever color tail you have and just put in one red strip in? Just a thought!

What Skip said is spot on. I tied a jig that worked great with a couple of strands of flash tied in it. So thinking that if a little is good, then a bunch would be better. Looked great, fish never touched it. Add your accent a little at a time and the fish will tell you when enough is enough. Good looking jig one way or the other.
