I just bought some materials to tie crappie jigs 2 days ago and finally had time to sit down and enjoy the process. They are really sloppy but I can't wait to put them in front of a slab

I have got to figure out how to hide my thread where i tie off with the whip knot. I bet i am making too many loops, but i am trying to make sure they come untied when i get hammered by a slab. Here is a new one i just tied because i have been catching a lot of fish on orange crawfish looking plastic lately, but you can see how much thread is showing where i tied the knot
