    Default First jigs ever


    I just bought some materials to tie crappie jigs 2 days ago and finally had time to sit down and enjoy the process. They are really sloppy but I can't wait to put them in front of a slab

    Good effort for the first ones. They will put fish in the cooler. I see a bigger box for them in your future.

    I will be there Friday and Saturday...rain, wind, snow I dont really care. I bet they will be shallow by then.

    I have got to figure out how to hide my thread where i tie off with the whip knot. I bet i am making too many loops, but i am trying to make sure they come untied when i get hammered by a slab. Here is a new one i just tied because i have been catching a lot of fish on orange crawfish looking plastic lately, but you can see how much thread is showing where i tied the knot
