They look like mutilated beat up perch, should be eaten by the mouthful by pretty much anything big enough to eat them.

A single sided jig huh, would have never thought of that, I imagine they fall in a very irratic pattern. I wonder if one could solder 2 of them on and have either a scent chamber or air chamber or both.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Hey David. I will give them a sore lip. Catch and release in grease!! Thank you all for the kind reviews. As I said if anyone else wants to learn how I make them then shoot me a pm or just check in the jig tying forum. Do a search on pinmins. If I can help you i will.

    Advantages of "Lawless"

very lightweight and thus a slow fall
Nickle flash on one side and painted on the other
    durable
    soldered joints
    attractive fish catching colors
use with hair, feathers or tubes
    fun to make
fatal to crappies and any other fish bad enough to eat it.

fish4all,how would you get the solder gun in to weld the second blade?lol.I guess that you could drill a couple of 1/8 inch holes in the blade and then solder them to the hook and fill in the holes,Ehhh, lol.

azslabber, with a little flux you can suck the solder into anything anywhere almost. Anywhere there is contact of metal to metal and some flux between the solder will go. Just have to get everything hot enough that you want to solder together. Might have to use a torch to do it but I don't see why a solder iron couldn't do the job.

Skip, I will bet those would catch some serious fish here in salt water when the anchovies are running and the fish are feeding under them picking off straglers and wounded fish. A little bright green and a red gill mark might be killer on sea bass.

I am Ship. The other fellow is Skip.:p:p The erratic action would do well in fresh or salt water. I would love to see photos of this type of jig that others might make. I hope I have inspired some of you to duplicate / replicate / or improve this concept. Thank you fish-4-all

Sorry Ship, don't know if I typed it wrong or just had a brain cramp, but I will let you know if I make any and if they work out here for salt water. Might be larger ones but the concept will be the same.
