Use a long needle and drill bits. It takes about 45 seconds per head but it is well worth it to get the finished look of something to eat. This also will help it to work in clear or stained water. The best color for any jig IMHO is chartreuseand.

Chartreuse and White
Chartreuse and black
Chartreuse and aqua
Chartreuse and pink
