    For me I would prefer either no collar or collars with no barb. I really like some I got from someone that had no barb but had a small bulb at the bottom of the collar. Allowed for some really nice thread heads and for getting a little extra flair on hair jigs.

    Like most things in this hobby, get some of each and decide what you like best.
