I know The size of Monroe can intimidate some and a lot feel like it’s full of small crappie. This is a solid report and not going to say how, where, who. Right after Christmas, a guy fishing off docks at Monroe with minnows, kept 10 crappie all around 2 lbs with one weighing 3 lbs 6 oz. Had his best day ever fishing. Don’t ask me what docks, how deep, who it was. I’m just telling you, Monroe is coming back. Bass tourneys all Nov, and Dec. we’re averaging 20 lb weigh ins on their tourneys with lots of 5-6 lb fish and occassional 7 plus also. Lots of good fish are being caught. Just a FYI!
