Thread: Had some fun yesterday

Meat56 and I headed down to a power plant lake and got into some nice black crappie. We caught them both spider rigging minnows as well as casting jigs. These fish are so thick it amazes me everytime we go there and catch some... We ended up with 51 ranging from 9.5"-14" and had a beautiful weather day to go with it!

Meat56 brought some bacon wrapped smoked crappie with us yesterday and I can't quit thinking about making my own. Definitely the best fish Iv ever eaten, period! Having them cold tastes just as good!! Here is a few pics of the feesh
