Crappie bite was on yesterday..
Lake XCX was one of the stops for a good crappie bite. Water temps ranged from 54 to 59 midday. We got most of the fish on a cork and weed less jig with our baby shad in a pink back white belly color set anywhere from 18 inch's to 3 feet with a slow presentation. We fished main lake flooded weed lines seem to be the pattern. Water color was fair to poor. We had to look for the fair water to fish put when you found it you would start catching some nice fish. Cold muddy water and crappie fishing don't mix well... Enjoy
