Fish K 3--I think a lot like you. When the fish are easy to catch, I think a lot of people tend to "over harvest", rather than practicing catch and release as much as they should. Hopefully I'm full of hot air and the bite will get better, but I've talked to too many good fisherman who aren't catching too much. I know that the lake will rebound because there are a ton of short fish that will be big enough in a couple of years, but lately patience has not been one of my strong suits. I still get a kick out of the thump when tight lining and to cork going down when cork fishing. I really don't care about the size of the fish, as long as I'm catching something.
