I know nothing about the lake but the bite never stops. 365 days a year some crappie somewhere on the lake eat to survive..all you have to do is be there on the right spot, at the right time, with the right color or type bait, at the right depth, with the right presentation..Bingo! now that's funny right there..
i'm catching on creek channel ledges some days and deep flats with stumps/brush using live bait. I have not caught a crappie in less than 20 FOW unless I was shooting a dock without much luck yet..My lake is deep so 20' isn't that deep. hardly ever do I fish less than 12-15 fow even in spawn unless casting. I have also caught some the past 2 weeks draggin dbl baits like wildcat. Water is stained so I stay away from light colors like acid rain but have caught my first 2 crappie here with pink/chart. Just keep fishin young man. nothing beats time on the water.. Google, google, google and use the search on this site. I'm still trying to learn how every day, every trip, every night. Sonar/gps helps 100% so get the best you can afford
