If it gets windy, you can head down the river (which is North). I've heard reports of some bigger fish being caught just North of the railroad bridge. I guess posting this on the internet won't keep it much of a secret, though.

I'm thinkin, nobody is going to be fishing the lake, and, consequently, everybody will be in the river, probably the south end due to close proximity, just want to remind ya'll, the rules state, all boats shall stay 1/2 mile apart !

Being from Texas, I get a lot of that sort of stuff.
No offence intended, just the answer I got when I asked why the river flowed north. I thought the Nile was the only one that flowed north. When I asked, that is what the locals told me. Wish you could be there. Gonna be a good time for sure.
