Me and Andy headed out from the house at 5 this morning. Went and launched from Edgewater to stay away from race traffic and the madness at Ponce and New Smyrna ramps. After getting gas and bait we were headed out with a beautiful sunrise.

Got offshore and went to the near reefs that Volusia county sunk. Totally impressed with the Motor Guide anchor lock. That thing is precise no matter wind or tide. Caught countless undersize Mangrove snapper and black sea bass. Had a ball of bait come up getting slammed and picked off a bonito.
