It's been on my radar for a long time too. Once I get the throw around boat legal I'll greet the sun there some morning. Probably have the fly rod with me too. Those grass lakes scattered through the forest can be sleepers, but might not hold many crappie. I lived west of Deland for a few years and fished anything that held water in the dry periods and had a real good time in many of them. Caught some bass on a tiny popper bug up to about 5lbs, had no scale then. The quiet and remoteness makes it a very different experience.
