Thread: Spawn this late normal???

So I have been fishing for crappie a lot more lately...

I would have figured the crappie were done spawning a while ago.

But after the last two trips out and going to get more minnows from my localtackle shop apparently there are lots of really big crappies being caught shallowand full of roe.

Is this normalfor the crappies to be spawning this late in the season?
