    Default 2012/2013 Florida CdC Slabfest Schedule


    Here it is the TENTATIVE Slabfest Schedule! If ANYONE has any suggestions or changes they would like to see don't hesitate to let us know.

    CORRECTING the Moon phases. Don't know what calendar I was looking at, but wrong information. Most dates selected are NEW MOON, NOT FULL MOON.

    Sat Oct 13 2012 Lake Monroe FULL NEW moon Oct 15

    Sat Nov 10 2012 Lake Talquin ( super Slabfest) FULL NEW moon Nov 13

    Sat Dec 15 2012 Lake Monroe vs Talquin event FULL NEW moon Dec 13

    Sat Jan 12 2013 Lake Crescent FULL First quarter moon Jan 18

    Sat Feb 23 2013 Lake Griffin Herlong Park Full moon Feb 25

    Sat Mar 16 2013 Harris Chain Gilbert Park FULL First quarter moon March 19

    Sat Apr 13 2013 Lake Monroe FULL NEW moon Apr 10 note: This will be our Classic where we cater the food

    Anyone gonna have an open seat at Talquin? Probably gonna have to work that Friday and will probably have to head out about 2:00am Saturday morning.

    Count me in ............ Lake Griffin is the only lake that dosent thrill me

    Would we be willing to make slightly longer road trips to locations, example : Lake Manatee, Lake George, Lake Blue Cypress, A Polk County lake..... these are locations I believe could support / launch/ lunch etc. or at least appear to be able to support small to med sized groups?


    From time to time I drive close by a few of these locations, or at least know folks (Harold) that would be able to provide us info to help determine if the locations could support an afternoon outing. If someone comes forward with info....... are some of the locations still flexable?
