Specks in good numbers on Lake Woodruff

I fished Lake Woodruff out of Highland Park Fish Camp on Wed & Thurs last week. I caught em on a jig and cork casting in the shallows. I caught close to 40 over the two day period and let some of the bigger ones go. I dont think they are as tasty as the 10 to 12 inch size. This year has been exceptional for specks.

Sounds like a couple of good days fishing
