At the October slabfest we had considerable discussion about swapping the January and March events. January would be Crescent and March would be the Harris chain. It was suggested that we post this information and get some feedback from members. CG1 feels that the Harrris chain is more productive later in the spring than January as originally scheduled. If you have any thoughts please post them so Flycaster can edit the sticky to reflect the change if needed.

The Crappie USA tourney is 1/19 so probably best to fish weekend after that as there probably would be a lot of people prefishing on the 12th.

Don't know how many would be prefishing that early....and putting it off til the weekend after would only give us two weeks until the next slabfest.
