Thanks for that intel. May give Rodman a shot. I'll flip a coin in the mourning.

I'm new to the forum, and very hungry for some crappie. Trading my go fast boat for a pontoon - and I need to find Durbin Creek. I live on the northside of JAX near Callahan. Would it make sense to put in at Clarks Fish Camp?
I have to work thru the week, but am looking for someone that wants go fishing with and help me get started finding a few crappie around Jacksonville - north side would be better but I'll drive for a good slab...

    Thanks!
    Ken

Kmullen I live right by the airport. I am in the Navy and stationed here. I dont have a boat, but have caught my fair share of crappie back home in Arkansas when I was younger. I am ALWAYS up for some crappie fishing.

I'll take you up on that when I get my go fast boat sold or traded

Thanks! I went down there - put my go fast boat in at Mandarin Park and putted around up into Julington Creek. I see some promising spots - I bet Durbin creek is the one off to the right after you get under the bridge.

    Talking Almost Ready

Finally, the go fast boat is gone, and I have acquired a deck boat. Not a pontoon like I had hoped, but will work. Should be ready to hit the water soon!
