That is how I feel about Trout , good for bait.:o But illegal for bait here like DP said.:rolleyes: The Sturgeon we have here are not like those ocean run giants, they are small. One species here is on the endangered species list, the other is extemely small.. All joking aside I love to catch anything that will streach my line. I have been known to fish for Grinnel, Carp, Gar,Drum ,and other rough fish when fishing is slow. I perfer Crappie , then Catfish or Bass.

I'm like you sir I love to fish period, I don't care what it is, fresh or salt water. Have a great time out fishing. Went out fishing -04-08-2008 after crappie brought home 100 fish. Going out again 04-11-2008 after crappie. I have 26 pounds of crappie fillets in my freezer, frozen in pound packages. Your write about trout they aren't fit to eat. There nothing like crappie, brim, bass, or Bluegill.
