Installation was not bad, instructions were good. I may have to fabricate a spacer bracket to move the transducer back about 3" as I may have some interferance from the lower unit on the right side (on a pontoon), if the right side signal is not good it will be no problem to correct. Would have done it today but was running out of daylight. Also had to get a floor flance to screw a 4' extension to raise the GPS puck above the bimmini top.
Have a lake test planned for tomorrow. We have a friend who is experienced with a 997 & have his number on speed dial & will probably heat up the airways with questions.
I will try to post tomorrow evening the results of the lake run.
