    Default Map Create?

Does map create have moving map capabilities?

Does Navionics have moving map capabilities?

I know Garmin Hot Spots doesn't have moving maps ability.

I am working on something. Still.

If map create is loaded on a laptop and you have a gps hooked up for NMEA 0183 data, does the map scroll like it does on the gps?

    This is called moving maps.

No for the 6.3 version but I don't know about the 7.0
You can copy sections of the map and load them in your Lowrance GPS. However the 6.3 only allows you to register 5 MMC cards. I don't know what will happen if you try the 6th card. Self destruct??:D

Got it working with Mapsource. I god older version of Mapsource. Can't find CD.

I downloaded Garmin nRoute. It has all the changes I need to have moving maps on my laptop. Been 5-6 years since I updated anything Garmin. My maps are obsolete (version 4.0).

I installed Garmin nRoute, now my Laptop looks like a giant Garmin. Pretty neat. It talks too.

I hooked up my Garmin GPS76 to my laptop and drove around some. Pretty neat. My Mapsource has recreation maps too.

If you got Mapsource loaded on your laptop. Hook up your Garmin to the laptop. You now have a giant screen Garmin.. I have used this before, but it did not have moving map capability at that time. Hunkie Dorie now.

Bill, I'm looking for the 5.0 or newer FHS maps that were supported by Garmin Map Source...I'm trying to download Lake Palestine & Lake Fork ,TX..Garmin has broken off with FHS and no longer has any of the older stuff from them...
