The standard mapping that comes with the 76 CSX is adequate for my fishin' purposes, but I went ahead and order the topo maps sos I can use it to chase a few turkeys and deer this next season.

The Garmin folks told me that if I down load only the maps I need (Arkansas/Missouri) that the 128 SI card that comes with it will be sufficient.

That's great! Keeps me from puttin' another 80-100 bucks into the machine for a 256 card.

I used it again this past Saturday and found every point from the past week-end but one. For some reason (pilot error fer sur) the waypoint "Cedar Tops" had drifted 200 yards UP ON THE BANK. But the rest were right on the money.

The one that "drifted" is the very first waypoint I did so I probably muffed it up somehow. But it's a great machine and I am excited about using it this Fall.
