Hummminbird sent a ferrite but no instructions. Looking online to find how it installs. Will update after I test the unit.

Instructions say to loop the us2 transducer cable thru the ferrite 8 times. Is this what I should be doing if I don't have the us2 cable plugged into my unit?

Makes more sense to me to wrap my own transducer cable. I'm thinking those instructions I found were for someone who plugs their us2 into their FF. Will give it a spin.

You want the wrapped ferrite core as close to the head unit as possible ...

It's job is to arrest EFI/RFI before it gets to the head unit ...

Does that mean just below the head on the shaft?

I sent him a link to the same video Rickie!
Thought I had some printed instructions on how to do this but I can't find them... the video is a better instruction option.

Ok, I have the ferrite ring installed about 2 inches from the HB with 7 loops. Didn't help at all. I read the instructions about us2 connections inside the trolling motor head (terrova). US2 Fuse is good. Checking all connections again. Will update when thru.
