You could have a 2nd transducer mounted on the bow and another power cord and cable collector.....Then you could just unplug the unit and move it. You would also be set if you decide later to buy a 2nd unit.

The Ethernet switch is the answer I think to be able to link two locations "bow primary & stern" from one transducer and one bird.
Gps signal be great from bow of boat to stop on brush for jigging. The second location on stern of boat is just for a heads up on brush and shallow spots long lining. Easiest thing to do is buy two units Ethernet from bow to stern. Cheapest thing is Ethernet switch from TM transducer if I'm following you right?
