Mine does the 200 default no matter what also. Set it to 83/200 but when you reboot it will always go back to 200. The top corner touch problem doesn't happen with mine. I just have to aim carefully and all the way to the corner and then it opens. On the favorite views I just touch and hold until the menu comes up and then uncheck the ones I don't want.
Not sure if you have done this but you can also change the order of the views by going to the home screen and touch/hold any of the view thumbnails. They will highlight yellow with directional arrows, you can then move the order they appear. Hit "X" to exit.
Any problems with your SI?
Thanks for the updates guys
I use the actual "X" button because it's easier but yes, that top one will be good.
With mine I can change from 455 to 800 and the label tells you correctly. Tried it after you mentioned it but it seems to work.

don't ask what settings I used.it was a very winded morning and all I did was take shots when I could.not much time to fiddle with setting.
Kosmo.....How do you think the 360 clarity compares? It looked to me like it was better....especially for 100' range.
The 360 is clarity seems to be noticeably better than what I was getting with the 998.(I'll get some better pictures soon)did you notice that I was running the di along with the 360 with no interference?) I also believe that the onix will produce a better si than my 998.i just need to to get more familiar with it.in my opinion the onix is the best unit on the market right now,yes it does have some minor glitches but the good far outways the minor glitches. For the average fisherman, that doesn't keep pushing and touching everthing, probably wouldn't even notice the glitches.this unit can be run strait out of the box ,without any adjustments and do all that most would want.(I just can't keep my hands off stuff)
You're shots look good Kosmo. Does HB have a fix yet to make the Onix communicate with earlier units?
Thanks justin.............there supposed to be working on that.........humminbird people sent me an email just the other day ,telling me there was going to be an update release around the middle of April, but I'm not sure what all will be in the update.im not planning on sharing info between the onix and my 998.i did have two 998s hooked up to share but I never used them that way.i keep all my waypionts on a handheld garmin gps.(don't ask me why, thats just the way I've done it for years)I don't keep waypionts saved on my humminbirds.but I do see the need for the onix and earlier model units having that capabilitie.(justin,im also starting to like using the touch function more.it is nice especially the pinch and zoom.its much more convenient than just pushing a button.while using the 360,I need it scanning out real far and then when I need to zoom,I just use two fingers to zoom in to the level I like)
